Fundamentally Toys Hosts Silhouette Artist Erik Johnson on Sunday, June 11th

Perhaps you never realized that the art of creating a silhouette is a unique skill, one that not everyone (not even all artists) possess, but Erik Johnson grew up understanding this fully. In fact, he's the third generation of a line of silhouette-makers who were specifically trained to recreate human profiles by carefully slicing black paper. Fundamentally Toys hosts silhouette artist Erik Johnson on Sunday, June 11th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and admission is free.

Come to the toy store to watch Erik work before your very eyes. He simply studies the profile of his subject and starts cutting until he's created a silhouette that perfectly matches. Watching is free, but if you'd like to actually take home a silhouette, it will cost $30.
